Diann and I spent the bank holiday weekend camping with some kitesurfing friends. We camped at Murvagh Beach (near Donegal town) which was great, apart from the litter pile previous campers had left. We woke on a sunny Saturday morning and the Kiters wanted somewhere more windy so we went to Dooey Beach Near Lettermacaward in Donegal which was very windy , and cold, and was like being in a constant sandstorm. But the kiters had a ball!

I’m still shaking sand out of things!
Last Tuesday Di and I had a wonderful wedding day, celebrating with friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, and as much fun as I have behind the camera a weddings, It was even better to be on the other side of things this time! We got married in the country church Diann grew up in, and had a fantastic reception in the Tullylagan country house. I’ve always liked weddings at the Tullylagan – It’s a great venue with huge grounds, and Mary and Brian always look after me!

For the 2nd year running I have shot the concert at the final stage of the “beginner to band” program run by the AMMA Centre. 15 bands made up of schoolkids showcased their songwriting and performance skills in the Iveagh Cinema, Banbridge. I grabbed some promo shots with my new strobist gearand it was a lot of fun to use!

I’ve given www.medialook.tv a re-vamp just in time for my upcoming Wedding Fayre in the City Hotel in Derry this Weekend. Overall I’m very pleased with the site, but it did take a while to put together!

I’ve been looking for gallery software to use to display a portfolio. The image file www.theimagefile.com/ is heavily advertised so when i checked it out I was very disapointed. It looks very home-made. not the slick system I was expecting.
Fluid Galleries from www.evrium.com on the other hand looks the business. I’m going to keep searching for something with print fullfillment options.
