I went down to catch the Nanook gig and hear their new stuff. Formerly named Cal, Colin’s band have been on the local scene for as long as I have been photographing gigs. Their new launch introduces a new noisier sound and Chris McCrory’s influence is obvious. The highlight of the night was the very fun and qwirky 2-piece Serpentine Smile.

Rhoda played a great wee set for a charity fundraiser in Starbucks on Botanic ave on Wed. Here are some snaps from her performance. If you get the chance to catch Rhoda – do it – she has a fantastic voice http://www.myspace.com/rhodamoore

As a wedding photographer I thought it was about time I got married myself :p
It has been a wonderful last 6 months for Diann and I, and as we walked along the beach in front of beautiful Ballygally Castle with the sun setting over the waves I knew the time was right to pop the question! I think It took both of us by surprise, but she said “yes” and we are both very happy and excited!

So If you are trying to plan a wedding – I can now honestly now say I know what it’s like!
